Civilization 3 Cheats on the PC
Sid Meier's Civilization III is the third installment of the Sid Meier's Civilization turn-based strategy video game series. It was preceded by Civilization II and followed by Civilization IV, and it was released in 2001. Unlike the original game, Civilization III was not designed by Sid Meier, but by Jeff Briggs, a game designer, and Soren Johnson, a game programmer.
Cheat codes, console commands, secrets:
To get a very hi score without doing anything, go to
the place you installed Civ 3 and find "highscores.cv3"
and open it in notepad.
Then type the info you need in this order:
[Your Name],[Civ(0-16)],[Your Score},{Victory Type(1-8)],
[Win/Loose(1=Win)]
Unlimited Gold:
First make a backup copy of the file script.slc, which is located in
..ctp_datadefaultgamedata. Then open up the original with any text editor
and add the following lines: trigger 'DOR_T_Give_Gold' when
[IsHumanPlayer[g.player] && [player.1.gold
Reveal map:
When you go to save, name the save "multi" without the quotes.
This allows you to see the map and you can change what other civs
are producing, among other things.
Start with 100.000 Gold and PW:
Start a new game and enter 'Leemur' as your leader name.
