Quest for Glory is a series of hybrid adventure/role-playing video games, which were designed by Corey and Lori Ann Cole. The series was created in the Sierra Creative Interpreter, a toolset developed at Sierra specifically to assist with adventure game development. The series combines humor, puzzle elements, themes and characters borrowed from various legends, puns, and memorable characters, creating a 5-part series in the Sierra stable.

Before the graphics re-made version, there was a text version that
you could cheat in. Type "Razzle Dazzle Root Beer", and then
ALT+X, ALT+T, ALT+E, ALT+I, ALT+K or ALT+B to get anything you
might need. Another rumoured version of this cheat says to
hold CTRL+ALT and the key. Probably best to try both.
The "Root Beer" code is version specific - apparently, it will only
work on the EGA version.
Also, to maximise strength, pull on the secret door.
(even after it is open) To get as much money as you want, keep
getting mushrooms and selling them to the potion lady.
